Friday Feature: The Roost - CoWorking Spaces

The Roost: Best Collaboration Spot in Draper

You have a meeting with your team and a new client but are tired of using the same old stuffy conference rooms at the office, and you really need to impress during your presentation. Finding a private place to meet out of the office can be a task in itself. You could have them meet you at the local coffee shop, but you run the risk of it being too noisy or even not having a place to sit.

There’s a revolutionary alternative that is located right here in Draper, and it’s easily accessible and central. The Roost has exclusive conference rooms that can be booked by the hour. The three conference rooms are private and range in size for your needs. With its modern vibes it is indeed one of a kind and really gets the creativity flowing during meetings. Plus it’s equipped with all of the equipment you need to run those meetings such as a tv and adapters to cast your laptop or phone, and a whiteboard to draw out your game plan. Also, located within the building is my favorite coffee shop La Barba coffee where you can grab a specially crafted latte before heading into your meeting to keep you in high spirits.

It’s a unique experience holding your meetings at The Roost and is easily allowing individuals to fuel connections and productivity. The Roost isn’t merely about the conference the rooms it’s about building a community. I’ve had the pleasure of holding many of our meetings for future builds with Lily and Copper Design and Solid Construction Group. During our meetings, we have met other local business owners and could network and truthfully create a one of a kind community within those rooms. The community is admittedly the catalyst for a space like The Roost, and it’s exciting to see so many projects coming to life in the Salt Lake Valley that started within these conference rooms.

The Roost was also built with design in mind. All of the elements chosen were to ensure productivity and creative thinking. From the tall ceilings and fun, light fixtures, right down to the reclaimed barn wood tables. Each room is bright with white paint and large iron glass doors that allow natural light to enter the space. Light is such an essential element in workspaces like this, and there is an excellent amount of light. You will be able to get plenty of work accomplished in this space with your team.

I will be going live later this month on my Instagram to highlight this space and show you all of my favorite elements. In the meantime take a look at the gallery below.
